Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Baby Tiger Booth

We just got off a cruise ship that sailed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.  At the marina, a man was selling photo ops to tourists to hold a baby tiger.  We were so disgusted, we just walked away.  This was on 10/30/08.  I looked back and could see the baby tiger in the cage sleeping.  It was hot and humid!!

  • Also, it was suggested that we complain to the cruise companies to warn them not to endorse this cruelty with money for pictures.

  • I too saw this just last week.  4/6/09.  Please call animal rights advocates.  The more people who call the more they will be forced to do something.  Call IFAW, Brendan Tate. (202) 296-3860.  Call Peta (757)622-7382.  Call World Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (508)879-8350.  Humane Society International (202)452-1100.  We can help by putting pressure on groups to investigate.
