911 Animal Abuse

Chuffer and Company

My family and I went to Old Town, Orlando for a car show last month.

At one of the ride areas, there was a small white tent set up with

an 11 week old white tiger on display, available to hold for a photo

opportunity.  They had a donation jar available but were taking ten

dollars from anyone standing in line to have their picture taken

with this beautiful animal.  I stood there for over an hour and watched

as they let this baby take 'cat naps' in between photo shoots, but let

each and every tourist handle this cub.  The woman who owned the cub

said she does this all the time and does not feel it's abuse in any way.

For your ten dollar 'donation' you get to keep an instant polaroid.

I also spoke to one of the people 'in charge' of this amusement area

and voiced my concerns.  He informed me that 'we' dont know as

much about big cats as 'these folks' do and he is sure that they

wouldn't do anything that would endanger this animal.
