I'm glad people are speaking up on behalf of these voiceless and abused animals. There only crime was to had been born. Laws need to be changed, USDA which in my opinion is a worthless agency that turns there heads to the plight of the exotic world of animals, horse slaughter houses and farm animals needs a complete revamping of there out dated and useless laws. FWC once in a while will do there jobs but they need to be pushed so it seems of so it's been my experience with getting them to move on Vanishing Species and the Harrods. Nothing will bring back those animals that died at the hands of the harrods but we can all help prevent such attrosities as side shows and baby pets along with back woods outfitters that don't have the facilities, care or qualifications to handle, care, feed, breed or house such beautiful animals such as your large cats, hoof stock and primates. I don't understand the laws of these two agencies as you as a licensed exotic animal owner can legally take your tiger out back in most areas and kill it ( tigers are on the endangered species list) and it's legal , yet if you take your dog or cat out back and kill it ( I shutter to think it) you can and will face fines and jail time,, so what's wrong with this picture!!!! I am committed to making a joyful noise to FWC and USDA and quite frankly I don't care who it offends because animals are dieing and no one cares enough to do there jobs. Places like Vanishing Species where the animals are truely vanishing needs to be shut own and both agencies have the green light to do it yet neither are moving on it. I'm sure there are a LOT of other back woods places I don't know about and if I did and they were closer by I'm help shut them down to. Breeders have to be stopped it's just that simple, you take away breeders licenses such as what FWC gives out you stop the baby trade. Not ever sperm human or animals deserves a name.
