Vanishing Species~ Florida's dirty little secret

In Feb ,2009 Jeffery Harrod and Barabra harrod owners of vanishing Species signed a plea agreement with USDA reducing a $27,000 fine for repeat violation down to a measly $3,700 fine with $100.00 a month installment. Since that time the harrods have continued to violate this plea agreement yet USDA does nothing. In fact USDA never came back to enforce there own plea agreement and pull the plea deal off the table.

They had the green light to revoke the harrods license yet didn't. In Feb 9,2010 Barbara Harrod plead "no contest" in from of Judge Ginger Lern Wren in Broward county court. The judge found her guilty on all 5 charges she was cited for from cage requirements to keeping baby's in her private home with no baby license. FWC has the green light to revoke her license so what's John West waiting on? Both these agencies have had the green light to revoke the harrods license for years yet allowed the abuse, neglect and premature deaths of animals that are listed on the endangered species list such as tigers and cougars aka panthers.

Many and I do mean MANY babies and young animals suffered and died at the uncaring and unkind hands of the harrods and it has been my mission for the last three years to bring out of the closet Florida's dirty little secret. USDA and FWC need to do there JOBS and if they keep looking the other way more animals will perish at the hands of the Harrods. After 21 days after  an inspection by USDA that report becomes public information. Type is APHIS on the right side click animal welfare, left side publications and reports, in the middle click on reports. You'll get a warning page, it's fine you can't get in trouble if you agree. Type in where it says name vanishing species or any other facility you want to look up, go to state fill that in and hit search. At the bottom you'll see a magnifing glass and a PDF next to it, click on the PDF and there you go.

Now Barbara Harrod was inspected Feb4 ,2010 and the report WAS there but it was removed I was told because a supervior didn't ok it to be put up yet it was way past the 21 day limit. March 11th another " attempted inspection" was tried but as usual Barbara harrod didn't allow the inspectors on sight,, wonder what she's hiding.

Ask why the Harrods whom have repeat violations and now 5 guilty verdits are able to retain there permits yet Another man recently convicted of 1 charge of guilty for tampering with a gator tag will have his license revoked for 1-5 years. what's wrong with this picture?

Demand anwers from USDA. I have called them for 3 years asking why they simply can't do there JOBS?

I am a voice for the voiceless and I'll continue to make a joyful noise until justice for these animals have been done. How many more beautiful animals have to die at the hands of the Harrods? How many more deaths due to lack of food, knowledge and funding because these agencies tap the Harrods on the wrist and allow more animals to perish a slow and painful death.

Help me to help these animals. Call John West, as the balls in FWC's hands right now to strip Babara Harrod of ALL her licenses and stop her from buying another tiger baby to exploit for baby pets at birthday parties, scouting events and private functions.
